The EFX-18 Solenoid Valve Caddy is a solenoid replacement for BASYS EFX high height IR faucets. High-height BASYS EFX faucets are the EFX-100, EFX-150, EFX-175, EFX-177, EFX-180 style faucets. The EFX-18 Solenoid Valve Caddy is intended for faucets that are 1.5 gallons per minute. The solenoid is blue, which indicates 1.5 gallons per minute. This coloration is consistent across all product lines for the flow rate. Solenoid can be inserted into the faucet from above the deck, twisting the solenoid for removal shuts off water to the faucet for simplified and easy maintenance.
For the BASYS EFX-800 style faucet, Sloan offers the EFX-1011 Solenoid Valve Caddy Kit 0.5 gallons per minute, the EFX-1012 Solenoid Valve Caddy 1.5 gallons per minute. Sloan offers additional solenoids and solenoid repair parts based on your faucet needs. An IR sensor is a type of sensor that detects the presence of an object or a person using infrared light. When an object or person comes close to the sensor, the IR light is reflected back to the sensor, which triggers the faucet to turn on the water flow.
