The 3M Under Sink Reverse Osmosis Replacement Water Filter Cartridge 3MROP416 is a reverse osmosis replacement water filter cartridge that is for use with the NSF certified 3MRO401 and 3MRO501 reverse osmosis systems.

This cartridge, as part of these systems, is considered to be the post-filter and reduces and residual particulate and chlorine taste and odor. Our 3MRO401 and 3MRO501 systems install under the kitchen sink and deliver cleaner, clearer, better tasting drinking water through a dedicated drinking water faucet.

This system provides water filtration on demand for drinking water, coffee, tea, baby formula, etc. and for cooking purposes as well. Our universal system design allows for use on both chlorinated (municipal) and non-chlorinated (well water) systems.

Our 3M Under Sink Reverse Osmosis Replacement Water Filter Cartridge 3MROP416 is easily changed via the SQC (Sanitary Quick Change) design. A simple quarter turn to release the cartridge and another quarter turn to install the replacement is all that's needed, no mess with spilled water. Everything is self-contained in the cartridge. Also included in the head assembly is a built-in shut-off valve that allows for changing the Sanitary Quick Change filters without shutting off the water supply, an unnecessary extra step.

To maximize system performance and efficiency, regularly scheduled maintenance including replacement of the filter cartridges at the required interval, at the rated capacity, or sooner if a reduction in water flow occurs is required. Filter life is dependent on actual use and incoming water quality.
