Humidification System
This ultrasonic humidifier uses high-frequency vibrations to turn the water into a microfine mist, which is blown into the room, where itimmediately evaporates. AIR-O-SWISS ultrasonic humidifiers consume very little power. A replaceable demineralization cartridge (Ag+ Ionic Silver Technology) ensures water mist without lime scale or mineral residues. The AIR-O-SWISS tri-band water protection system helps to inhibit microbial growth in the water of your humidifier. The mist exits the appliance at a comfortable body temperature of 104° F (40° C) if you choose the pre-heating function.

Water and Hygiene
Tri-band water quality protection:

• The ultrasonic system, with its high-frequency vibrations, destroys most bacteria and viruses
• Pre-heating the water to 176° F (80° C) also eliminates bacteria and viruses.
• The plastic housing of the demineralization cartridge is silver treated (Ag+ Ionic Silver Technology). That inhibits microbial growth on the surface of the cartridge.
• For best results the use of the Ionic Silver Stick® is recommended (available for sale with purchase of humidifier). The patented Ionic Silver Stick® uses aqueous silver ions to prevent and control microbial growth for up to one year of continuous use (optional).
